New Arrival (for imaythrowup)

Amara watched her sleeping newborn, wanting to hold her but not wanting to disturb her sleep. It still amazed her that tiny perfect little creature came from her, but she knew it was certainly true. She had gone through hours of labor to prove it. How could she have ever doubted that she'd be able to love this child? Her entire world seemed to have changed in the short time since she was born. Everything that seemed important before now paled in comparison to what was best for this little girl. She was so helpless and fragile that Amara knew she'd do anything to protect her, keep her happy and safe.

With a little sigh she reached down and gently put a hand on her tiny little chest, feeling comforted by the gentle rise and fall of the baby breathing. "Sweet dreams little one.." She said softly. She wondered when Leonard would be back... she imagined he'd be the only one who would understand these thoughts and this newfound feeling of responsiblity.

ooc: So yeah I was looking for something to do other than my work so I went ahead and posted this.... I think we said something about her going ahead and having the baby and I didn't know a better way to do it so.. um... here! Hope it's ok with you :-) if not I can always delete... whatever...*
